TOWARD ENDING HUNGER AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

Hunger and malnourishment is still a crucial problem in many countries, in particular in rural areas. Besides the development of rural non-farm employment opportunities, advancing sustainable and productive ways of agricultural production is essential to address this challenge. Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition as one of the Sustainable Development

Sectors (SDS) of the G20 Action Plan on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development play an important role in the efforts of the G20 to support the implementation of the SDGs. This Task Force will discuss opportunities for G20 action in this area.
